Embark on a cultural and culinary adventure and let yourself be swaddled in Mexico’s colors, flavors and hospitality!

Experience famous street fiesta fare to chic nights in Mexico City, peek into the kitchen of Mexico’s most adored artistic couple, take a gastronomic tour through Yucatan Haciendas, and celebrate the Day of the Dead in Veracruz.

Led by the Mexican Cultural Institute's charismatic and talented in-house chef and cooking instructor Patricia Jinich, "Mexican Streets: Walking Fiesta Fare" will introduce the audience to on one of Mexico's oldest most lively culinary traditions: street food. A tasty fixture at all festival, fairs, and celebrations in Mexico, the demonstration will highlight some of the traditional small Mexican plates known as "little cravings" (antojitos) that are found on nearly every corner: esquites, elotes, sopes, tacos, and more. Special guest Chef James Muir, from Rosa Mexicano Restaurant, will share one of his favorite street foods. Price includes class, full dinner with drinks, recipes, and Mexican ingredients.
