Opening night of Donald Syriani's Art within Photography: The Red and Black Exhibit. Champagne upon arrival. RSVP: events@l2lounge.com Exhibit overview: Donald Syriani’s work fuses his twin loves of art and photography to create art within photography. Through these two forms of expression, Syriani's work also spills into the world of fashion, interiors, and design, with an emphasis on atmosphere and effect. Inspired by the evocative powers of abstract painting, Syriani's photography is an art that prefers to suggest rather than state its intentions. Through his controlled use of strong colors, shifting light and ambiguous forms, Syriani experiments with various aesthetic arrangements and introduces new shapes into the modern space. Exhibit moves to Contemporaria in Cady’s Alley after the first evening at L2 Lounge. www.donaldsyriani.com
