The Phillips Collection Annual Gala will be a star-studded black-tie event attended by more than 400 of Washington’s most powerful and prestigious leaders. The 2009 Gala will be held at the museum with guests dining among masterpieces by Degas, Matisse, Renoir, Diebenkorn, O’Keeffe, Lawrence, and other modern masters. The evening will include a cocktail reception in the museum’s main gallery and sculpture garden, followed by a seated dinner in the upper level galleries, and dancing to the Glenn Pearson orchestra at the nearby Anderson House.
