On ‘Chocolate Lover’s Day’, complimentary mini chocolate tastes will be offered nationwide during Kimpton's well-regarded and popular wine hour. Kimpton’s wine hour takes place daily in hotel lobbies all over the country. It’s a complimentary service to all hotel guests, but on ‘Chocolate Lover’s Day’, each hotel and restaurant will offer chocolate treats to everyone in their communities – not just hotel guests. See below for full details on what each associated restaurant and chef in the DC region will provide in their neighboring hotel lobbies for the ‘Chocolate Lover’s Day’ wine hour, which will take place between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Featured desserts for the month: Chocolate Decadence with cherries, candied walnuts, and port wine reduction AND Roasted Banana and Chocolate Napoleon with rum sabayon, brûléed bananas, and vanilla ice cream.  The Butcher’s Block will offer house-made hot chocolate.

2/17 Wine Hour Special: Chocolate Covered Marshmallows.

Featured desserts for the month: Rosemary Kissed Chocolate Silk Tart with vanilla bean sweet cream served with olive oil gelato and toasted pine nut brittle AND White Chocolate Napoleon with Sicilian pistachio gelato and roasted figs.
