All Politics is Local

Event Date:
Wednesday, April 4, 2012 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Immediately following DC's April 3 primary election, NBC News 4 reporter Tom Sherwood, Washington Post reporter Nikita Stewart, and WTOP investigative reporter Mark Segraves sit down to analyze both the results and DC's local political landscape, and talk about how they get the story.

Tom Sherwood specializes in politics and DC government. Tom joined News 4 in 1989 after 15 years covering local and national politics for The Washington Post. He is the resident guest analyst each Friday on WAMU's Kojo Nnamdi Show. Nikita Stewart closely covers (and uncovers) DC politics for The Post. She also writes for TheRoot.com. Before joining The Post, she covered local politics for New Jersey's Star Ledger. Mark Segraves is lead reporter for WTOP's Investigative Unit. Mark joined WTOP after serving as an investigative producer at ABC 7 News. He is a frequent guest analyst on WAMU's Kojo Nnamdi Show.
