Honorees will receive the Transformation Award, Courage Award, Hope Award, Inspire Award, and KM Warrior Award.  We will also honor our Volunteer of the Year and announce our 2015 Ambassador.  The event will be hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies, Anita Brikman, former News Anchor, WUSA9 and Scott Thuman, Anchor of Good Morning Washington.  TheEmPOWER Ball will be a celebration of life, survivorship, as well as a time during which we take to pause to honor those who have not survived.

Tigerlily Foundation's 6th Annual Tigerlily Foundation EmPOWER Ball will be held at the Reston Hyatt, 1800 Presidents St, Reston, VA 20190.  Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour and silent auction, three-course dinner, an awards presentation, entertainment and live music.  To learn more about the Empower Ball, buy tickets, sponsor, advertise or to honor a breast cancer survivor, visit our EmPOWER Ball website! Event tickets are $150; sponsorship levels vary. The EmPOWER Ball is presented by Easai and is also sponsored by Backflow Technology, LLC and Genentech.  Thanks to our EmPOWER Ball Co-chairs, Carol Barbe and Lorna Campbell Clarke for their support.  Click here for tickets and email empower2014@tigerlilyfoundation.org for more information.

This event generates funds that enable us to provide education, peer support, meals, buddy bags to young women in treatment for breast cancer, financial assistance and empowerment.  The funds we raise also enable us to provide travel grants to young women living with Stage 4 breast cancer, and working with a travel partner, send young women living with breast cancer on vacation.  We also educate physicians and the community about the issue of young women and breast health, elevating the quality of health care services rendered to young women.   Our annual EmPOWER Ball is attended by more than 500 attendees, from healthcare, finance and technological institutions, breast cancer survivors, healthcare advocates, CEOs, Members of Congress, local celebrities and more.    We would like to invite you to support this worthwhile endeavor, as we honor breast cancer advocates for their outstanding contributions to the community.
