The signature festival of the DMV Food Truck Association features 20 of the DMV’s favorite food trucks, live chef battles in the Curbside Cookoff Arena and people’s choice awards for categories including Food Truck of the Year, Chef of the Year and Breakthrough Dish.
Join us 11 am to 7 pm on Saturday, September 6 at 1st and M Street NE.
Tickets can be purchased for $5 in advance or at the entrance. Children under 12 are free.

Food Truck Awards: Voted by you this month and announced at Curbside Cookoff! Awards are for achieving and setting exceptionally high standards in operations, food, service, innovation, design and value.
Food Truck of the Year: Awarded to a food truck who has achieved and set exceptionally high standards for entrepreneurship and food truck operations as well as excellence in food and customer service.
Chef of the Year: Awarded to a food truck chef who has achieved and set high culinary standards of excellence for the regional food truck industry.
Dessert Chef of the Year: Awarded to a food truck chef who has achieved and set high culinary standards of excellence for the regional food truck industry in the areas of pastries or desserts.
Outstanding Customer Service: Awarded to a food truck that has demonstrated consistent high standards of customer service.
Best New Food Truck: Awarded to a food truck that has opened within the last 12 months preceding Sep. 6, 2104 and has distinguished itself for quality of food and/or customer service.
Breakthrough Dish: Awarded to a food truck for achieving significant innovation or advancement in food preparation, cuisine or menu. Nominated dish must have been served at least once within last 12 months preceding Sep. 6, 2014.
Food Truck Design of the Year: Awarded to a food truck for excellence in concept and execution of food truck design and decor.
Best Five Buck Bite: Awarded to a food truck for a dish that offers exceptional taste and value for a price of $5 or less.
