For three decades now, (flutist) Bobbi Humphrey has been playing her special brand of music to audiences around the world.

Jazz great, Dizzy Gillespie first discovered Humphrey during a talent contest at Southern Methodist University, and encouraged her to pursue a musical career in New York City. After following his advice, she received her big break while performing at the Apollo Theatre on Amateur Night. She eventually began playing regularly throughout the city, and even met and performed with music legends including Duke Ellington, Lee Morgan and Stevie Wonder. This will be her second time at THEARC Theater during the Double Time Jazz concert series!

Fee: Tickets starting at $20 per person. Contact:  202-889-5901
