Capital Area Food Bank
This will be a night of farm to table food for a great cause. Chef Grace Lichaa returns to Washington, D.C. to cook up a fall harvest dinner to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.
She'll prepare a savory, four course menu made with seasonal ingredients provided by From the Farmer (http://fromthefarmerdc.com/). You'll feast family-style in a unique setting - the training kitchen at the Capital Area Food Bank.
Grace is an experienced chef and food educator, who many will remember in 2012 was the first-ever D.C. Chef to win "Chopped" on the Food Network. Before moving to Boston in early 2014, Grace worked as D.C. regional manager at the Capital Area Food Bank. She remains a fierce advocate for hunger in our nation's capital and beyond.
In honor of Hunger Action Month, Chef Grace, the Capital Area Food Bank, Bookalokal and From the Farmer have teamed up to host this event in hopes it will inspire you to cook for a cause, and host a similar event to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank at your home.
