In honor of National Soup Month, Legal Sea Foods has declared a ‘Legal’ holiday, Chowda Day on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
For one day only, customers can enjoy Legal Sea Foods hearty New England Clam Chowder for an unbeatable $1 a cup with the purchase of any entrée.
There is a limit of one cup of chowder per entrée and no substitutions are accepted. Additionally, Legal Sea Foods’ online fish market will pay homage to Chowda Day by offering a quart of clam chowder for just $11 (regularly priced at $21.95) for those who want to send “warm wishes” to someone special. This pricing does not include any applicable taxes or shipping/handling charges.
Legal Sea Foods first opened as a fish market at 237 Hampshire Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1950 and it was here that their famous chowder was first served. Now regularly priced at $5.95 a cup for an eight-ounce serving, the award-winning New England Clam Chowder has become a cult favorite.
