Monster Jam Hosts Happy Hour in Chinatown to Celebrate its Return to D.C.
Show Rolls Into Verizon Center January 24-25, 2014
WHAT: For the first time since 2011, Monster Jam® returns to the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. on January 24 and 25, 2014. To celebrate its return to the nation’s capital, Monster Jam will be hosting a happy hour at Penn Social (801 E Street NW) on Thursday, January 23.
Guests are invited to join some of their favorite Monster Jam drivers for happy hour specials and activities, including remote control truck races. Penn Social will offer specials, including $2 off draft beers, $5 rail drinks and $6 wines until 7 p.m. and offer $3 Bud Lights and 75¢ wings until 8 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets with prizes including tickets to Monster Jam and Penn Social gift certificates. Funds raised will benefit D.C. Central Kitchen, a local non-profit organization that provides job training as a solution to poverty and hunger.
