This annual, free event continues to feature award-winning authors, illustrators and poets to celebrate the joy of lifetime reading.
Festival-goers can meet and hear firsthand from their favorite authors, get books signed, have photos taken with mascots and storybook characters, and participate in a variety of learning activities.
This is the 14th year the Library of Congress has hosted the festival, and thanks to last year’s resounding success that brought more than 200,000 attendees, the event will move to its inaugural year at the Convention Center to include movies, cooking demonstrations, and new features.
