FORTHCOMING BAKESHOP, RARESWEETS, TO HOST SUMMER POP-UPS AT SALT & SUNDRY AND LA COLOMBE

RareSweets, a bakeshop and specialty dessert company opening in downtown’s CityCenterDC development this fall, will host a preview pop-up at La Colombe Coffee on Friday, August 8th. Pastry Chef and founder Meredith Tomason will preview a selection of her specialty desserts.

La Colombe Affogato Pop-Up, Friday August 8th, starting at 1:00 pm – while supplies last

Tomason will prepare the Italian specialty, affogato, a cool refreshment for hot August days. Available for $3 each, she will top scoops of her specialty ice creams with La Colombe’s espresso shots. Three ice cream flavors will be available, including milk chocolate cacao nib, crème fraiche and dark caramel.

La Colombe is located in Shaw’s Blagden Alley, at 924 (Rear) N Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
