Colorado-based brewery celebrates its newest fall beers with rooftop carnival party featuring beer floats, psychic readings, photo booth, carnie games & more

WHAT:           Out: Fall Beer Festivals. In: Fall Beer Carnivals. Celebrating New

Belgium Brewing's fall brew line-up, Jack Rose Dining Saloon is hosting "Tour de Fall Carnival" - an afternoon beer carnival complete with beer floats, a New Belgium tap takeover, "carnie fare" including corn dogs and cotton candy, and brew-centric games like bottle ring toss and "guess your weight in beer." "Tour de Fall Carnival" will take place on Jack Rose's rooftop terrace on Saturday, October 25 from noon to 5 p.m.

Shining the spotlight on New Belgium's newest fall release "Tour de Fall", a pale ale dry-hopped with Amarillo and Cascade hops, the free and open-to-the-public party will feature psychic readings, a photo booth, 10-tap takeover curated by beer director Nahem Simon, and $5 specials on the following New Belgium drafts:

  • Lips of Faith Series: La Folie sour brown ale
  • Sour Vintage Single Batch Series: Le Terroir - dry-hopped sour ale
  • Pumpkick - Limited release spiced pumpkin cranberry ale
  • 1554 - black lager
  • Hop Kitchen Series: Hop the Pond - double IPA
  • Tour de Fall - Amarillo and Cascade dry-hopped pale ale
  • Ranger IPA - dry-hopped American IPA
  • Abbey - Belgian-style Dubbel
  • Fat Tire - Belgian amber ale
  • Rampant IPA - Imperial IPA

Fans of "fair" food can enjoy specially-priced treats like corn dogs, cotton candy and popcorn from Executive Chef Russell Jones, and beer floats crafted by beverage director Trevor Frye.

And no carnival is complete without games and prizes. Guests can play several carnie games for free - like testing their taste buds on the "Sour Your Face Off" Wheel, playing "Pin the Mustache on the Ranger,"or blind taste-testing New Belgium brews - to win tokens to exchange for prizes.

"Tour de Fall Carnival" at Jack Rose is free and open to the public, taking place on Saturday, October 25 from noon to 5 p.m. on the rooftop terrace. For more information, call 202-588-7388.
