This September, Urbana’s Chef Ethan McKee will bring back his popular cooking classes emphasizing handmade pastas. The first installment will highlight the end of summer with pasta dishes made with produce from Chef Ethan’s rooftop garden on property.

Guests will take turns rolling and shaping gnocchi, pappardelle, and ravioli while learning how everyday kitchen tools can be used to fashion fresh, fast-cooking pastas. Featured dishes will include potato gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and arugula pesto butter; Tuscan kale pappardelle with zucchini  leeks and organic mushrooms; and ricotta ravioli with spicy eggplant Bolognese.
