On April 21st, six of Washington D.C. finest chefs will showcase their creativity as they join 40 stars of Washington’s political and media firmament in a bipartisan bash to honor Susan Ann Davis.

The annual celebration of Irish cuisine, culture and politics - An Evening with Celtic Chefs - will be held at the St. Regis Hotel to support the work of the Washington Ireland Program (WIP).

“I am always amazed at how political Washington sets aside its differences when it comes to helping Ireland and the Washington Ireland Program” said Irish Ambassador Anne Anderson, “It is a truly celebratory night with great food, and the wit is just crackling.”

Joining the six celebrity chefs from Le Diplomate, D.C, Restaurant Eve, Willow Restaurant, The Irish Inn at Glen Echo, Chao Ku and Decanter at St. Regis, are over 30 celebrity Sous Chefs including Senator
Chris Murphy (CT), novelist Alice McDermott and Ambassador Elizabeth Bagley to name just a few.

They will be joined by local and national media personalities Mark Shields, Al Hunt, Judy Woodruff, and Gordon Peterson, along with political heavyweights Stephanie Cutter, Joe Lockhart, Mike McCurry, and
pollster Peter Hart.

This year’s event will honor Susan Ann Davis, CEO of Susan Davis International and chair of Vital Voices.  According to WIP’s founder Carol Wheeler, “Susan is one of those remarkable people who somehow
make 24 hours stretch farther than the rest of us can. She devotes a huge portion of those hours to numerous great causes, with none dearer to her heart than a prosperous and peaceful future for Ireland and Northern
Ireland. WIP--and the countless young leaders she has inspired and supported—can't wait to say a public thank you and to celebrate her legendary generosity.”

Tickets cost $150 each and are on sale at: http://wiprogram.org/events/celtic-chefs/
