All this year, the volunteers of GiveBack DC have been working furiously with three local and deserving non-profits to rebrand and build their respective online experiences in time for the Fall! Better yet, as a part of the GiveBack DC mission, these efforts are at no cost to the non-profits! 

Join us to network and celebrate with designers, technologists, communication & marketing teams, as well as professionals from around the region!

What you can expect to see:

** DC’s premier designers and developers to present design and technologies used for #good,

** Bringing people together to celebrate web design, web development for the cause of good,

** Learn about how you can give back in the best way you know how,

** Open bar & network with other experienced professionals from the technology, creative and other professional industries in DC,

** Show off some sweet moves on the dance floor!

6:00 - Check-in 
6:30 - Structured Networking with drinks & appetizers 
7:45 - Design & Technology Presentations
8:30 - Networking (unstructured) - Open Bar.

Note that while we will try to accommodate late arrivals, you must arrive by 6:50pm to be guaranteed entrance.

About GiveBack DC

An annual initiative by GiveBack DC to rebuild and improve the digital reach of local nonprofits, GiveBack DC is in its fourth year and we are excited to have partnered up with WDGGeneral AssemblyBlackMesh and 1776 to bring this year's event back to DC! 

About the Non-profits
This year, GiveBack DC is working together with the following non-profits for complete design and technology makeovers: 

SemperK9 
Working with local animal rescue organizations, Semper K9 Assistance Dogs provides Assisted-Living dogs for wounded, critically-ill and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. 

Bethany House of Northern Virginia
Bethany House provides emergency shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence throughout Northern Virginia and the surrounding DC metro communities. 

Critical Exposure
Critical Exposure trains urban youth to use photography and advocacy to make real change in their schools and communities.
