The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
The Kennedy Center will host a joint museum “Sidewalk Sale” with over a dozen local museums to participate on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Atrium.
A selection of gifts, books, textiles, prints, jewelry, and holiday merchandise will be for sale from participating museums.
Museums participating in the joint sidewalk sale include: America’s National Park Stores, Audubon Naturalist Society, Dumbarton House, Folger Gift Shop, Friends of the National Zoo, Hillwood Estate, Museum & Garden, International Spy Museum, the Kennedy Center, Montgomery County Historical Society, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, the Navy Museum Store, President Lincoln’s Cottage, Shakespeare Theatre Company, the Supreme Court Historical Society, Tudor Place Historic House and Garden, and The Walters Art Museum.
Up to two hours of validated parking will be offered for patrons driving to the event. Patrons should bring their parking slip upstairs to the Kennedy Center Atrium where the ticket will be validated to avoid paying upon exiting the garage.

The FREE Kennedy Center Shuttle, the Center’s link to Metro’s Foggy Bottom/George Washington University Metro station (blue/orange/silver lines), departs every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to midnight, Saturdays.
