On Monday, April 6th, we're inviting all our guests and Washington Nationals fans to celebrate the official start of baseball season with us at our first annual Opening Day Fest!
The outdoor festivities will run from 11 AM to 4 PM at Lot O (across the street from Bluejacket and directly behind the Trapeze school).
Inside Opening Day Fest, we'll be will be pouring no fewer than 8 of our signature beers, including 2 of our newest brews, Goldfinch (hoppy Belgian blond ale) and Swirl (sour strawberry brown ale), as well as the very first ever kegs of Barrel-Aged Mexican Radio (whiskey barrel-aged sweet stout with spices), which will be debuting at Opening Day Fest!Chef Kyle Bailey will be serving up burgers and GBD fried chicken sandwiches and doughnuts, while our friend Chef Nate Anda of Red Apron Butcher will be bringing his hot dog cart, Frank, out of retirement for the afternoon. And since we're celebrating a new season of Nats baseball, we'll have batting cages and a fast pitch booth on hand throughout the day. Add in a little live music, a DJ, free cornhole and some sunshine, and you have every excuse to play hooky.
There is no admission fee for Opening Day Fest and all food, drinks and games will be sold individually.
