Georgetown BID/Heart of Georgetown
2nd Time Around, the high-end consignment boutique that specializes in currently on-trend styles, has just moved to 3109 M Street in Georgetown. To celebrate this awesome new location, the store will be hosting an Open House full of festivities, with a portion of the proceeds from the event supporting Becky’s Fund the last weekend in April.
2nd Time Around will be donating 10% of proceeds to Becky’s Fund, the DC based charity working to end intimate partner violence, from Thursday, April 28 until Sunday, May 1. As well, shoppers will enjoy 10% off their purchases from Thursday to Sunday during the Open House Festivities. Saturday shoppers can also enjoy mini hair and makeup makeovers from Stylisted including buns, braids, lips and lashes from 12 to 2.
2TA has chosen 6 trend-setting women who represent different styles in DC. Each will be featured on 2TA social media channels leading up to Open House events. The featured tastemakers include:
- Nycci Nellis, the best-dressed foodie in town, founder of TheListAreYouOnIt.com and host of Foodie & The Beast
- Morgan Fykes, the DC editor of Guest of a Guest, DC Fun Employment and AsItHappens.co, as well as Event Chair for CapFabb
- Marissa Mitrovich, of Politiquette, who marries her love of fashion with the political scene
- Rachel Cothran, Consignment enthusiast who created the Project Beltway blog
- Becky Lee – the founder of Becky’s Fund, who does a lot of good for the world while always looking good
- Natalie Pinto, Co-Founder of TheFashionablyBroke blog
Each of these women are great examples of the different facets of style in the nation’s capital as well as the 2TA shopper, who frequents the store to find pieces that work for her individual sense of style and help her stand out from the crowd, while saving money and shopping sustainably.
