Here is all the information you need for the race if you are a spectator:

Streets are closed at 6:30 pm. If you are a resident please plan accordingly for parking. We allow people to start lining up at the first parking spot line at 7pm when we get the go ahead from the police. No chairs or anything that will obstruct the people in the backs view will be allowed in the front. If the people in the back don't see someone they push forward and that is a safety hazard. if you have a stroller please go to the R street area where there is more room. Please do not leave your spot in the crowd. the minute you move everyone pushes forward and it creates a problem. We have never had an incident at the race and it has always been a fun. If you see something say something to one of the volunteers who will be wearing blue shirts. Please don't climb trees, newspaper boxes or anything else. The run starts at 9pm on the dot. Mayor Bowser, banaka, and Birdie LaCage will be the grand marshalls
