St. Stephen Episcopal Church

1525 Newton Street NW
2010 Washington , DC
United States

Grab your friends and come on over to Saint Stephens for the last square dance of this mildest of winters!

We're super excited to have DC Square Dance co-founders Gabe Popkin and Paul Brown teaming up to bring you some high-octane calling and fiddle music. Joining Paul is the Old Time Wall of Sound: Bill Schmidt on banjo, Ann Porcella on guitar, Kevin Enoch on bass and Terri McMurray on uke. (Yes, uke!) It's going to be a heck of a time!

All are welcome – young and old, brand new and experienced dancers. No partner, lessons, overalls, or fancy dress needed!

Time: Doors at 8:00 pm; Dancing from 8:30 to 11:30 pm.

RSVP on Facebook (optional!)

Admission: $5 cash or check at the door - sorry, no credit cards.

Snacks and drinks to share are welcomed.

Folks from outside the neighborhood, we recommend taking the metro! St. Stephens is a short walk from the Columbia Heights station on the green/yellow line. For drivers, there is a garage below the mall on Park Rd. at 14th St, or you may be able to find street parking.

This dance is sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington.
