HIGHLIGHTS:
At the German Embassy, both the Embassy grounds and the Ambassador’s residence will be open to the public. In honor of the EURO 2016 soccer tournament, this year’s open house will also celebrate the beloved European sport of "football"; Visitors might meet and dribble with professionals players—Ronald Zubar from the New York Red Bulls and Julian Busher from DC United—as the two teams will compete the day before in DC. The French and German players will greet Open House visitors and even take selfies with them!

At the British Embassy, visitors will get a rare look inside the Ambassador’s Residence and Gardens as we are celebrating the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 70th anniversary of the UK-US special relationship, and the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. The Embassy grounds will host an interactive and family-friendly bazaar celebrating UK culture, creativity, business and innovation. You can take a selfie with Shakespeare, sample some British food, check out the latest luxury British cars and find out about the NFL games in London later this year!

At Netherlands Embassy, play a life-sized game of foosball, learn about a visit to the Netherlands, Aruba, and Curacao, and taste Dutch goodies, such as poffertjes, stroopwafels, and kaas!

Good article listing what you can expect to eat & drink at each embassy!

No prior registration is required, but be aware that you may need to pass through security screenings at some embassies.
