Macon Bistro & Larder is debuting a new movie lineup for Sunday Evening Movie Classics in the restaurant’s new back bar and private events venue, The Magnolia Room.
Guests can sip on Beverage Director Andra “AJ” Johnson’s craft cocktails, each priced at $12, or enjoyed featured beers for $5 each, along with half-price bottled wines, while indulging in the Cocktail Chatter Snacks & Supper menu featured in The Magnolia Room (complete menu posted below).
Sunday movie night begins at 5 PM, with each show lasting approximately 90 minutes. On May 8th is cult classic legend John Waters, with Serial Mom, Pink Flamingo, followed by Cry-Baby; May 15th stars Elizabeth Taylor with Butterfield 8, Cat on A Hot Tin Roof followed by Cleopatra; May 22ndit is Carey Grant with His Girl Friday, Notorious and An Affair to Remember, concluding on May 29th with Katherine Hepburn in A Philadelphia Story, The African Queen, and Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.
The Magnolia Room’s bar will remain open for libations and light snacks being offered until 12 AM, for the duration of the three Sunday evening movies. Reservations are recommended for booking a table for the featured flick, which will be shown on the 55-inch flat screen TV above The Magnolia Room bar.
