One Year After THE Election, Where Do We Stand?
Indivisible (and numerous other grassroots groups) got-going in the months after the election results of November 8, 2016 showed so many of us that major changes are needed ASAP.
Our NW DC Indivisible group has been holding meetings since early 2017. We have been collaborating with various individuals and groups to engage not just as resisters, but as persisters.
For our November meeting, let's join forces with others in DC and beyond. ActLocal is bringing together volunteers/leaders around the USA. The goal is to build local power and promote allyship across the progressive movement. You can read about the national effort here: www.ActLocal2017.org
