In The Artist's Process, we are treated to the plein air gems of 29 WSLP painters. Along with a few companion studio works, we see the spontaneity of place and time revealed and transformed by the creative process.
While plein air paintings often serve as studies for larger, more deliberate studio works, they are also artistic accomplishments in themselves. They reveal the unfiltered inspiration of the landscape, as well as the painter's creative process.
