Dreaming of Dénia: A Spanish Dining Series
New this summer, Slate Wine Bar + Bistro is excited to offer a culinary experience like no other in D.C. Chef/owner (and sommelier) Danny Lledó invites you to Dreaming of Dénia, an interactive dining experience focused around Spanish food, wine and culture.
Chef Lledó will entertain up to twelve guests at the Glover Park restaurant’s intimate Chef’s Table as he demonstrates his award-winning Paella techniques and recipes on an open grill. Known as much for his warm hospitality as he is for his talents in the kitchen, Chef Lledó will also regale diners with stories of his culinary experiences in Spain (including growing up in Dénia, an idyllic coastal city in the province of Alicante.) This exclusive opportunity will allow diners to interact directly with Chef Lledó as they enjoy authentic Spanish food and wine.

Offered for only four Saturdays this summer, on July 15th, 22nd, 29th and August 5th, guests can choose from two seatings at 6:00 pm or 8:30 pm. The Dreaming of Dénia dining series is offered at $45 per person with an optional $25 wine pairing.
