The Georgetown French Market, one of the District's most anticipated shopping weekends, marks the triumphant return of the spring season. Georgetown's Book Hill neighborhood will transform into an inviting open-air market as the over 40 locally-owned merchants, restaurants, salons and galleries display discounted items and unique finds. Check out our dedicated Georgetown French Market site for full event details!
Friday & Saturday, April 28-29, 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday, April 30, Noon to 5 pm
The three-day event will feature live entertainment and children's activities, evoking the outdoor markets of Paris where guests wander between shops and galleries tempted by the aroma of fresh coffee and croissants. C'est magnifique!
Social Media Contest: From April 1 - April 27, take a selfie in front of the French Market banners (on the fence at the corner of Wisconsin & R, or at Francis Scott Key Park at M St & Key Bridge), or in front of a French Market poster in the windows of our participating stores. Then just post it to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, tag our applicable account, and use the hashtags #GeorgetownFrenchMarket and #ThisWayToBeret. Four winners will be randomly chosen the first morning of the French Market and will receive amazing prizes from our merchants, including gift cards, wine, French fare, artwork and more! (Note: Winners must pick up their prizes at the French Market.)
