The Heurich House Museum will welcome Atlas Brew Works of Washington, DC during its monthly History & Hops series on Thursday, February 16 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Atlas Brew Works is a neighborhood production brewery located in Northeast Washington, DC. They produce hand crafted artisanal beer in 20 barrel batches at their facility in Ivy City. Atlas Brew Works was born of passion for craft beer and community.

Silent Neighbor-American Stout(6.7% abv)
Burnt Espresso, Rye-Spice, Black Strap Molasses lends a touch of sweetness. Roast and Chocolate notes. Light bodied, bold flavors. Solid winter, or year-round beer.
 
1500 South Cap Lager-Helles Lager(4.7%)
Light & refreshing. Little bready on the nose. Slight touch of Fruitiness, Fermented a little higher than most Lagers and Minimal spice from Mt. Hood(American Noble Hop)
 
Dance of Days- Hoppy Pale Ale (5.7% abv)
An American-style Pale Ale not shy with its hop aroma. Local wehat gives this beer a great body while American Citra and Mosaic hops lend a deep dank citrus flavor. Sonte Fruit, Dank aromas. Grapefruit/orange.

Admission fee includes tastings, snacks, and tours of the historic home of DC's most successful brewer, Christian Heurich. Guests must be 21 or older.

About History & Hops: History & Hops is a monthly series at the Heurich House Museum, the former Dupont Circle home of D.C.'s most successful brewer Christian Heurich. Every third Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30pm, the museum partners with a local craft brewery for house tours and beer tastings. Guided tours through Heurich’s well-preserved Victorian mansion will discuss his brewery and the D.C. region’s rich brewing history.  All proceeds benefit the preservation and growth of the Heurich House Museum. Guests must be 21 or older.
