Join your friends and neighbors for a leisurely stroll through a DC neighborhood listening to local musicians and performing artists as you shop, dine, and meet new people.

It may never be easier to get up close and personal with the musical talent of Washington than at PorchFest DC, when the front porches of homes and a few local businesses are transformed into intimate performance spaces to be enjoyed by anyone who walking through the neighborhood.

Inspired by similar PorchFest events across the country that are aimed at creating a family friendly, neighborhood-based alternative to the nightclub music scene, the PorchFests in Adams Morgan and along Rhode Island Avenue NE offer an eclectic range of musical styles from Brazilian, Irish and jazz, to indie rock, children's music and even Egyptian Nubian folkloric. Thirty or more musicians/bands, spoken word artists and other play at a dozen homes and businesses during each of the PorchFest events.

PorchFest DC is free to the public and presented by Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District and Rhode Island Avenue NE Main Street in partnership with Cultural Tourism DC.
