Artists and Makers Studios
We will be open at both Artists & Makers Studios locations on Friday, January 20th as a welcome center/gathering place/respite location for people who would like to gather away from televisions and the news with friends and family. (Supervised children are welcome.)
We will have snacks and soft drinks, and will set up tables and chairs in the halls, and would appreciate your loan or donation of complete board games, card games, decks of cards, etc. for guests to enjoy. Does anybody have Twister or a plastic bowling set?
Guests will be invited to visit with artists, to hang out and read books from our library, meet new friends, and to spend the day in a gentle, supportive space.
Other artists, studios, and centers in the metro area may be joining us in this effort. Feel free to spread the word.
