Fletcher's Cove
Dandies & Quaintrelles along with Holly Bass|360 invite you to join the 8th Seersucker Social bike ride and picnic, which include a 10 mile bike ride through DC streets, river-view bike paths, and a shady riverside destination for our DIY picnic!
This year, our stylish summer bike ride ends at the Potomac River! We'll visit Fletcher's Cove, which is approximately 2 miles north of the Georgetown waterfront via the paved Capital Crescent Trail.
We'll have:
- Shaded picnic tables, areas and grills
- Clean bathrooms
- Boat Rental, fishing supplies, licenses, and snacks available
- Walking trails along the river
- On-site parking
Here's what you should know:
- You must REGISTER on Eventbrite to get the start location: https://
- Those traveling by car can park directly at Fletcher's Cove, leave their picnic supplies at the end site, and ride approximately 4 miles to our start location.
- It's a bring-your-own-picnic event! we will not supply food or beverages this year.
- Participants arriving by bikes only can leave their picnic blankets, small coolers and baskets with us at the start and have them driven to the end location.
- Participants wihtout picnic baskets can stop along our route and grab food in Georgetown to bring to our picnic spot. We recommend Dean & Deluca, Sweetgreen & Chaia!
- Alcohol is not permitted on the picnic grounds. Park rangers may visit the site location periodically throughout the day!
