Commissary will host the Sixth Annual Oscar’s Viewing Party on Sunday, February 26, 2017, this year with a Meryl Streep theme starting at 8:00 a.m. in honor of her 20th Oscar nomination.
The viewing party will kick-off at 8:00 a.m. with brunch and Meryl Streep movies shown all day on a full wall projector. As movies such as Momma Mia!, The Devil Wears Prada and Kramer vs. Kramer play, Meryl Streep games will be at each table with prizes for winners. Themed cocktails such as the Florence Foster Jenkins Collins and Death Becomes a Corpse Reviver will be available for purchase.
Once the brunch fun winds down, Commissary will transform into the set of La La Land, and host a Red Carpet viewing starting at 4:00 p.m., with Happy Hour in full swing until 7:00 p.m. Both during the red carpet arrivals and once the awards begin, a La La Land themed menu (in addition to the regular dinner menu) will be available with an array of small plates and desserts.
