Don't miss this creative and meaningful annual event! Arrive early for the best selection... we will go to 3 pm but will likely "sell out" much earlier.

Annual SOUPer Saturday at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Old Town Alexandria...

On this day, your purchase has a purpose: helping to fill the empty bowls & pantries of families most in need within our community.

Come to the waterfront entrance to select from an array of beautiful handcrafted bowls, all donated by local ceramic artists.

One of a kind bowls are $20 each (cash/credit card/check payable to UCM) and include a voucher for a complimentary serving of award-winning clam chowder, courtesy of Chart House restaurant. (The voucher is valid for the event date 2/18/17 only.) Larger items will also be available at higher prices.

All proceeds benefit UCM programs to support emergency assistance programs including the UCM Food Pantry, where every week day 80-100 low-income families receive groceries -- as well as counseling and referrals to create a brighter future for themselves.

Thank you to the ceramic artists, Scope Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, Torpedo Factory Art Center, Eileen Egan Pottery, and Chart House restaurant for the soup -- for their generous collaboration of this annual popular event!
