Alice in Wonderland Rosé Garden @ Suburbia

While DC’s Cocktail Queen, Gina Chersevani, doesn’t need a calendar to find a reason to celebrate Rosé, a national holiday doesn’t hurt in gathering others to cheers the rose-y occasion. National Rosé Day is Saturday, June 9th, and Chersevani is transforming her mobile “bar on wheels,” Suburbia, outside Union Market, into a Rosé-filled oasis. The white-picket fenced-in space surrounding Chersevani’s vintage Airstream pop-up bar will be all decked out as an Alice in Wonderland-themed Rosé Garden -- think large rose flower cut-outs, a photobooth with the Queen of Hearts, and pink... lots of pink. If you don’t like Rosé, well, then… “Off with your head!”
 

Froz-é will flow “all day” and 5-glass flights of Rosé will be served in playful pink flamingo blow-up trays for a possibly dangerous, $20. All Rosé by the glass will be offered for less than $10, and full bottles will be available as well.
