“Experience the Seasons” is an immersive, pop-up art installation at Trellis House, North Shaw’s newest apartment community. Inspired by the neighborhood’s iconic “Seasons in the City” mural by the Albus Cavus Arts Collaborative, the installation simulates the four seasons as experienced by residents of the District and is designed to invite the audience to bring their own unique interpretation to every aspect of the piece.
Designed with sustainability in mind by D.C.-based urban design lab BroCoLoco, each piece of the installation has been thoughtfully planned for future reuse upon closing of the installation. BroCoLoco’s strong ties to North Shaw and dedication to working with local vendors make this installation not only a celebration of the District and its unique elements but of its residents as well.
