The Golden Triangle's signature Farragut Fridays series will begin on May 11 and run through September 28.
The weekly event features Outdoor Office presented by Comcast Business, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. From noon to 2 p.m., engaging pop-up activities are added, along with lawn games, a trivia prize wheel, and more. Activities for May include:
- May 11: Spy Museum, Eye Street Massage, an Everblock creation built by KGP Design, and interactive arts led by instructors from Plaza Arts.
- May 18: DC Burners Poi Spinning, jazz musicians from Wolf Trap, Everblock creation by KGP Design, and interactive arts led by instructors from Plaza Arts.
- May 25: Humane Rescue Alliance, with adoptable dogs and cats; Everblock creation by KGP Design; and Burning Man-inspired "Handi-Hour" from the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery.
From June through early August, Farragut Fridays expands to include the Golden Cinema series, featuring 10 evenings of outdoor movies. Finally, in June, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Murrow and Monroe Parks, the Golden Triangle adds its Picnic in the Park series, with lawn games and other activities.
