YES, the same people who brought you the 2016 "Mercy and Whiskey - an Election Returns Cry-In" are back again to help answer that question lurking in the back of everyone's mind: Just what is the state of our union, anyway? Is it possible to have more winning than we've already had? Would more winning even be desirable at this point?
WELL, citizen, it just so happens that the President is going to address Congress on that very subject, and your friends at the Wonderland Ballroom will be screening it upstairs. We assume things are "good," "very good," "fantastic," "very fantastic," and also that "my hands, people tell me all the time, are actually very large."
BEST OF ALL, our friends at Lady Parts Justice DC will be on site providing everyone with an ample supply of cheezeballs and/or cheetoes to throw at the screen during moments of heightened anxiety. Or despair. Or anger. Because feelings. A portion of all sales will go to benefit LPJ and their mission.
ATTENDEES will also, upon request, be furnished with a bingo card that, when completed to the satisfaction of the very fickle and capricious bartender, may be redeemed for a Fire and Fury shot.
