Earlier this month, Ladies DC invited DC's professional and savvy women to an evening of “Pampering and Professional Networking” at Georgetown’s L2 for their first official 2011 event. A diverse group of women (and some lucky men) ranging from PR professionals and social media to physicians and entrepreneurs braved the harsh winter elements outside and warmed up to specialty cocktails and complimentary popcorn inside. The Still Point Spa, O Salon, and A David Palmer Salon provided plenty of pampering with manicures, massages, eyebrow threading and hair styling. And more than a few brave ladies (aka not I) received palm readings from The Psychic Shop!
