Last month’s Mother Earth Eco-Fashion Show and Soiree at Carbon, benefitting DC Treads, featured chic, tropical-inspired frocks that you can look good in and feel good about!  The Woodley Park boutique debuted the Auralis Studios Collection here in DC with an intimate fashion show with models wearing flowly Caribbean-inspired dresses and menswear including the Convertible Jumper, Margie Dress, and the Beto Polo.  While enjoying the beautiful “green” fashion, guests noshed on organic bites and sipped on Calypso organic wine.  Auralis Studios’ New York-based founder and designer, Auralis Herrero, who grew up in Puerto Rico, uses only organic, sustainable, natural, or recycled fabrics.  Auralis recreates in her latest collection the “Urban Tropical Look,” which is inspired by ‘70s Puerto Rico, New York, and the Caribbean.

In addition to Auralis Studio, Carbon carries a variety of sophisticated, eco-friendly fashion, shoe, handbag, and accessory lines like Melissa Lew, JEM, Tashia Senn, Gidigio, and many more.  Now under the management of DC eco-stylist Katherine Limon of My Signature Look LLC, Carbon brings high-quality, sustainable fashion to every socially conscious fashionista (and fashionisto)!
